How can our small start-up be the next disruptive courier app on the market? Lofty goals of any start-up are incredibly challenging to reach. When our team started Voyago over a year ago we had one thing in mind. How the heck could we make shipping cheaper? It wasn't easy. Most of the big players in the market have essentially taken over the market. Voyago had a challenge. Make shipping and technology one. Which meant merging the latest digital resources with a monolithic business model.

The cool thing about apps is their inherent ability to revolutionize how we work and play. Uber, AirBnB, Facebook, Whatsapp, GrubHub, and many others have assisted how we live. But shipping a packages from one place to another still has been untouched for the most part. Why? If the techies reading this understand how routers work.. we can crack the shipping dilemma. A package to us is synonymous with a packet of data. The right protocols can get one packet of data from your PC in San Francisco to some persons laptop in Shanghai. The team at Voyago felt we could do this with mail.

The goal was to get packages sent just how you send and receive data. With peer to peer networks. People power is essential. This will make getting your love letters or Amazon.com Nike shoes sent faster and cheaper. Another area we wanted to focus on was how can we allow regular people who travel by bus, air, sea, or even bike to be a Voyago-er (a person who delivers stuff)? The key thing was accessibility. Unlike the large shipping couriers who need large resources to deliver. The reason why Voyago will supercede FedEx or DHL is we don't start with a fleet of planes, buses, and warehouses, etc.. The overhead is too high. Thus, making it more expensive for you and me to get our goods sent somewhere.

Voyago starts by using the resources a Voyago-er has available. Most likely a bike or car and our app. We assume internet access is present as well. After creating a FREE account you're ready to make moves. Our team has worked so hard to put a navigation system within the app to make deliveries faster. It's amazing how long I've been subjected by modern day shipping companies. For years I haven't realized how much money I've spent shipping packages. Shipping overall is not the best experience for many people. With very poor customer service, a multitude of steps, charges that are bloated, and other major issues it makes one feel put off. Their services offered is so poor one would think that they try to make people not want to send stuff at all. Shipping goods all over the world MUST CHANGE! Voyago App is launched!

We have made excellent progress this month. The Voyago app is finally launched. Wow, it's amazing how much work and effort is needed to build an app. My respect for many developers and coders who find the long hours to build an app. Voyago started months ago with a simple idea. What If we could bundle all the resources of the shipping/courier process in a single app. We set out to research and work our butts off to ensure that Voyago made getting packages from one part of the world to the next. The task of such a process was intense. We had many obstacles and challenges in such a monumental task. How would we tap into our social networks? What about scanning technologies? And most of all who would pay for this?
