Voyago isn't just any courier company. We thought long and yes, even drank lots of coffee.. trying to figure out how we can create a secure way to get items shipped. There were many obstacles we needed to overcome. How can we keep people from just stealing the shippers items? We solved this by implementing a transparent user review element. That way people just don't select a Voyago-er. They choose who they want from looking at their user ratings. If users score poorly then chances are users won't trust them to carry their parcels.


Another problem we needed to solve was how to prevent shipment of illegal items. Things we typically can't ship such as contraband weapons, certain drugs, explosives or hazardous chemicals. This was not an easy problem. Which is why we included a camera that allowed people to take pictures of items they were sending. After they took pictures they would share them with the Voyago-er. If the Voyago-er didn't like the items they could refuse transport.

Another step involved many notifications. From the time the app is used Voyago posts various warnings to not send illegal stuff. Granted, a small amount of anomalies may get through Voyago's scanners. But other levels of security such as airline agents may block illegal items from getting through.

It's amazing how long I've been subjected by modern day shipping companies. For years I haven't realized how much money I've spent shipping packages. Shipping overall is not the best experience for many people. With very poor customer service, a multitude of steps, charges that are bloated, and other major issues it makes one feel put off. Voyago App is launched!

We have made excellent progress this month. The Voyago app is finally launched. Wow, it's amazing how much work and effort is needed to build an app. My respect for many developers and coders who find the long hours to build an app. Voyago started months ago with a simple idea. What If we could bundle all the resources of the shipping/courier process in a single app. We set out to research and work our butts off to ensure that Voyago made getting packages from one part of the world to the next. The task of such a process was intense. We had many obstacles and challenges in such a monumental task. How would we tap into our social networks? What about scanning technologies? And most of all who would pay for this?
