Changes are coming...

Working on a start-up is awesome. The freedom to design how you want, build and code in areas that you see fit is better than money. Overall, it's a great experience working on our new Voyago app. From it's inception Voyago started out as a tool to assist with lowering the cost of shipping. Now, Voyago although not a household name... has more users than where we started a year ago. Our recent development to allow people to navigate better is rad. Now, people need not worry about how to get places. We do the path setting for you!

We realized that scanning parcels is a must, lowering the costs of shipping is necessary, overall efficiency is needed. One thing that was missing to our large puzzle was how can people get the packages from point A to point B? If your not familiar with a particular area or may be dropping off packages to a different town then it could be problematic to know where the person may live.

Since Voyago does not use typical US addresses things get even more tricky. That's why we embedded useful technologies to allow people to simply input coordinates and find the best way to get to that final destination. Using a bus, car, or bike, etc... having a mapping system on your phone will cut down the delivery time tremendously. This wasn't easy of course. It took a lot of time and energy developing such a system. But Voyago it in our new app! Don't worry about trying to bring a large paper map with you on your next delivery.

Why People HATE FedEx, DHL, USPS, EMS, and the others...

It's amazing how long I've been subjected by modern day shipping companies. For years I haven't realized how much money I've spent shipping packages. Shipping overall is not the best experience for many people. With very poor customer service, a multitude of steps, charges that are bloated, and other major issues it makes one feel put off. Their services offered is so poor one would think that they try to make people not want to send stuff at all. Shipping goods all over the world MUST CHANGE! For many small to medium sized businesses it's a burden to ship in a cost-effective manner. Amazon.com, Etsy, ebay.com, etc... and many other online sites can afford to offer free and next day shipping since they have the money and volume of shipments to do so. Voyago App is launched!

We have made excellent progress this month. The Voyago app is finally launched. Wow, it's amazing how much work and effort is needed to build an app. My respect for many developers and coders who find the long hours to build an app. Voyago started months ago with a simple idea. What If we could bundle all the resources of the shipping/courier process in a single app. We set out to research and work our butts off to ensure that Voyago made getting packages from one part of the world to the next. The task of such a process was intense. We had many obstacles and challenges in such a monumental task. How would we tap into our social networks? What about scanning technologies? And most of all who would pay for this? There are hundreds of little intricate steps that the Voyago team had to crack to figure out the core engine to our app. Finally! just this past month we we're approved by Google to post our app on their Play Store.
